Recently, an endoscopic skull base 3D surgery training workshop hosted by the Department of Neurosurgery at a leading Grade A tertiary hospital in China has successfully concluded. Over the course of three days, a total of 15 surgeries were performed, including craniotomies using a combined setup of 3D endoscope, 3D exoscope and operating microscope, as well as transnasal endoscopic procedures. These covered typical cases such as craniopharyngiomas, pituitary adenomas and acoustic neuromas, with both classic and innovative surgical approaches adopted. The training was conducted through hands-on practice and live observation. For the first time, a cutting-edge 3D medical imaging display system was utilized, providing robust support for high-standard observation and demonstration of 3D surgeries.
Developed by SELON Co., Ltd., the 3D Medical Imaging Display System is specifically engineered for medical environments to address the lack of large screen 3D imaging display devices that support multi viewer observation in surgical demonstration, teleconsultation, medical training and other scenarios. This high performance, multi interface, wide gamut system fills a domestic and international gap and reaches world class advanced standards.

The system supports ultra high definition resolutions including 1080P, 4K and 8K, delivering exceptional 3D depth of field and spatial stereoscopic effects. When connected to medical 3D endoscopes, 3D exoscopes and other 3D camera systems, doctors and staff outside the operating room can view smooth, crisp full HD 3D images simply by wearing lightweight and comfortable polarized glasses.
It is widely applicable to various 3D medical scenarios in hospitals and medical universities, including operating rooms, surgical centers, consultation rooms, meeting rooms, demonstration classrooms and training centers.
